Cancellations and requests for refunds will be accepted until August 8, 2021. For cancellations before this date we will withhold a 50% cancellation fee for purchased tickets. Transfer of tickets to other participants will be accepted.
We process contact data that you provide during the registration process for the purpose of managing participants. Your personal data will always be processed only to the extent necessary to fulfill the respective purpose. If at all, we also only pass on your data to fulfill a purpose underlying the processing.
Information for authors of accepted papers
Authors of accepted papers are required to provide prerecorded videos of their paper presentation (1 video per accepted paper). Each video will be checked by our conference board and then uploaded on YouTube as a private link. After their presentation during a live hopin session, videos will be published on YouTube and remain available for 1 year (until September 2022). In case authors do not wish publication of their videos after the conference/session, or that a published video should be deleted earlier than Sept 2022, please state that in your registration or contact us. We will delete these videos after the conference/session, or as soon as we receive your request for deletion.
As an upload platform for your video(s) we will use Dropbox. Uploaded videos will remain stored on Dropbox until August 31st, 2021. If you do not wish to use Dropbox, please send us an email (firstname.lastname@example.org) and let us know how you would make your video available for us.
Payment service provider:
The “Mollie” service is integrated into the ticket store for the processing of payments. This is an independent data controller who collects your data within the scope of payment processing. When making a payment in the Ticket Shop, you can decide whether you want to use this service. If you do not wish to do so, payment can also be made by bank transfer. Virtual hosting of conference sessions:
Virtual hosting of conference sessions will take place on Hopin (https://hopin.com/).
The ARES & CD-MAKE 2021 conference takes place exclusively virtually. The conference sessions will be held online. To participate, you will need to register with Hopin as the platform provider for access to the sessions. However, SBA will not transfer your data to Hopin. Photography, Audio and Video Recording Release:
Video footage and/or screenshots/photos will be taken during ARES & CD-MAKE 2021 conference, which may or may not include your recognizable image. Please be advised that by taking part in this event you grant SBA Research the full rights to use the images resulting from the photography/video filming, and any reproductions or adaptations of the images in print, digital or web -based formats for promotional, sponsoring and archival purposes. this might include (but is not limited to ), the right to use them in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases and funding applications. If you do not wish to have us use your image, please notify the event organizer prior to the event or ad hoc.
