SecAviation meets SecHealth: Cybersecurity in Critical Infrastructure (AviHealthSec)
For ARES 2026 the two workshops SecHealth and SecAviation were merged into AviHealthSec.
SecHealth
Healthcare systems are rapidly transforming through interconnected medical devices, AI-based decision support, cross-organizational data sharing, and home care technologies, improving efficiency and patient outcomes while also expanding the cyber attack surface. SecHealth 2026 provides a forum to discuss preventive, technical, organizational, and regulatory approaches to healthcare cybersecurity, with a focus on AI-enabled systems, secure data sharing, human factors, compliance requirements, medical device security, and operational resilience in safety-critical healthcare environments. The workshop aims to connect cybersecurity, AI, healthcare IT, and policy communities and to bridge academic research with real-world healthcare operations.
SecAviation
This technical session addresses holistic, proactive, and system-oriented approaches to security in aviation. It provides a forum for presenting methods, tools, empirical results, and operational experiences that consider interdependencies between technical systems and services, operational procedures, and human factors. Contributions are invited from academia, research institutions, industry, air navigation service providers, manufacturers of aircraft or unmanned aerial systems, operators, regulators, and other aviation stakeholders, including theoretical and empirical research, validated methodologies, applied solutions, and live demonstrations.
The submission guidelines valid for the workshop are the same as for the ARES conference.
