Cloud computing has definitively cemented its role in our daily existence, while concurrently, technologies such as edge computing, fog computing, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have been evolving. Moreover, the emergence of Industry 4.0, advancements in 6G security, the development of digital twins, and innovations in automotive technology underscore the pervasive impact of these technologies. In this context, the paramount importance of securing sensitive data and privacy is universally acknowledged, given the daily emergence of new threats, thus propelling cybersecurity to its deserved prominence. The methodical application of software engineering to these burgeoning technologies is crucial for crafting secure systems.

This iteration of our workshop is committed to exploring methodologies for the design and implementation of security mechanisms within cloud-based systems and related technologies such as fog computing, edge computing, IoT, Industry 4.0, 6G networks, digital twins, and automotive technologies. We aim to delve into security aspects including but not limited to Trusted Computing, SGX, ARM TrustZone, Knox, smartcards, focusing on device-level security, the identification of novel vulnerabilities, and the proposition of enhancements and secure solutions.

A special emphasis will be placed on addressing security concerns within hardware architectures (e.g., Intel, ARM), analyzing malware that exploits vulnerabilities in underlying architectures and microarchitectures, the implications of post-quantum security in relation to hardware, and strategies for mitigating side-channel attacks.
