Workshop on Sustainable Security And Awareness For Next Generation Infrastructures
Cybersecurity remains a critical challenge in an increasingly interconnected world shaped by IoT and AI, but security measures also have environmental, socio-economic, and governance consequences that cannot be ignored. SAFER 2026 focuses on the intersection of computer security and ESG dimensions, including the environmental impact of digital infrastructures, social equity, privacy rights, ethical governance, and sustainable security practices. The workshop aims to bring together interdisciplinary researchers and practitioners to discuss challenges and solutions that move beyond purely technological security approaches.
The submission guidelines valid for the workshop are the same as for the ARES conference.
