Workshop on Security, Privacy, and Identity Management for the Digital Transformation
For ARES 2026 the two workshops EDId and RDGPT were merged into SPIMDT.
EDId
The identity environment has evolved into a complex ecosystem demanding seamless interoperability, stronger security measures, and user-centric experiences in an increasingly interconnected digital world. Addressing these difficulties necessitates collaboration among scholars and practitioners from diverse disciplines, establishing an interdisciplinary approach critical for shaping the future of identity management. EDId navigates various security, privacy, and legal compliance issues, addressing technical issues like security and interoperability and legal and regulatory considerations like data protection and privacy.
RDGPT
Recent years have witnessed rapid advances in digital technologies, increased data collection, and the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence systems. While these developments deliver significant societal and economic value, they also pose critical challenges related to responsible data governance, privacy protection, ethical AI use, and regulatory compliance. Organizations increasingly struggle to design digital systems that comply with legal frameworks such as the GDPR and the EU AI Act while maintaining transparency, fairness, and trust.
The 2nd International Workshop on Responsible Data Governance, Privacy, and Digital Transformation (RDGPT 2026) aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and industry experts to exchange ideas, best practices, and emerging solutions for responsible data management in digital environments. The workshop focuses on data governance frameworks, privacy-by-design approaches, ethical decision-making in AI-based systems, privacy-enhancing technologies, enterprise modeling for digital transformation, and FAIR data management principles.
